How can I access the Messenger chat log from a computer I did not use to chat?
Q. I have a Yahoo account. I sign in and chat from home on Yahoo Messenger. I chat from my office on Yahoo Web-Messenger. Both chats are archived. Is there any way to access the Messenger chat from my office; or to access the Web-chat from my home. Can I access the chat archive from a computer other than the one used chatting.

A. Actually, there IS no storage for Yahoo chats. C-Drive holds your instant messages, so unless you're calling instant messages chats, there's no way of looking at your back log. Another thing, Messengers can only be accessed from the computer they're downloaded to. So no, there's no way for you to do what you asked concerning that.

How do I chat with someone from japan using Japanese alphabet?
Q. I need to chat with a person in Japan I have a language converter so I can write Japanese but I when I receive a message from Japan it gets all mixed up and all I get is a bunch of different symbols in english. I need to receive messages in Japanese or converted to english. I downloaded the japanese version of Yahoo messenger but that does not work either can anyone help I need yahoo messenger to automatically convert Japanese to English and English to Japanese so I can send instant messages to someone in Japan so they can read my messages to them an d I can read instant messages from them

A. If you have Windows XP: Start-> Control Panel -> Date, TIme, Language, and Regional Options -> Regional and Language Options Click on the "Languages" tab. Check the "Install files for East Asian Languages" box. If prompted to restart computer, click "ok". Go back to the "regional and language options" and under the "languages" tab, click on details. In the installed services section, click "add" and find the Japanese IME. Click "ok" and apply.

What websites Can I use to chat with my family using my webcam and microphone?
Q. My parents and my computer have both a webcam and a microphone so how can I chat with them for free? Is there a program or a website and do you need like some type of address to connect to one another? Also I have high speed internet (dsl) but my parents have dial up can I still video chat with them? Thanks for the help! P.S. I am obviously new at this so please help?

A. Check out Totally free PC to PC Messaging, Voice Calls and Video Chat anywhere in the world. Even call PC to phone for small fee. Not sure if Broadband is required, but certainly recommended. Video chat will probably be very poor quality at best on the dial up end.
